Here at Green Gecko Gardens, we strive to make our clients' dreams come true. That was exactly the case with the Kumeu Garden Makeover project – clients had a dream for their garden, but their previous contractor couldn't make it happen. So they called us in, and we rose to the challenge.

The back lawn area was transformed from clay and dirt to a lush California green-tall fescue turf, with a timber edge between the deck and lawn for separation and drainage. Timber garden boxes were built along the east and south boundary fence line, filled with vegetable mix ready for planting. In the spa area, missing slats on the privacy screen were replaced and a two-tier garden box was installed, also filled with vegetable mix. Paving and pebble was installed in the spa area to create a seamless walkway.

To give the front garden area a beautiful aesthetic and long-term ease of maintenance, we weeded, removed unwanted plants, and planted new hedging plants. We also created a small paved stepping stone area leading up to a water feature, and pebbled with two different sizes for a stunning end result. Green Gecko Gardens' team exceeded expectations on this project, leaving the clients with a beautiful outdoor living space that they can enjoy for years to come.
